Apart from normal days work, Radiant dental Clinic organizes various Social works for the betterment of society. Todays article is on the basis of our Social work at Darjeeling Ramkrishna Mission where we had a long tiring but satisfactory two days workshop.
About 45 Kids were treated against their Gum Bleeding in the two day span workshop free of cost. Dr. Papita Ghosh personally took the charge.
Our Emphasis
Our emphasis was on Gum Bleeding problem which is a common problem among hilly tribals. our attempt was to create an awareness about Gum Bleeding Problems which may be overcome by following simple precautions.
A person may notice some blood during brushing.The most common cause of bleeding gums is gingivitis, or inflammation of your gums.A buildup of plaque ,tartar at your gum-tooth junction irritates gums which ultimately leads to gingivitis. Plaque is the sticky, colorless film that constantly forms on your teeth. If plaque is not removed regularly by tooth brushing it hardens to create tartar/calculus.Gums become red, and swollen.At the time of your brushing they may bleed.
Then what should you have to do?
You should practice three things regularly at home.
1.Rinse your mouth with plain water after each meal.
2. Brush properly twice a day.
3.Floss. Floss at least once a day.
